The riverine habitat supported a rich mix of waterbirds\, with Grey Heron\, Great and Intermediate Egrets\, and Purple Heron seen along the banks\, while Lesser Whistling-Ducks\, Indian Spot-billed Ducks\, and Eurasian Coots occupied the open water. River Terns cruised overhead\, and multiple kingfishers—including Common and White-throated—added flashes of color along the water’s edge.								\n				\n				\n		\n				\n				\n					Partnered with				\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n				\n				\n				\n									The surrounding scrub and fields were equally active\, with Black Drongos\, Asian Green Bee-eaters\, and Paddyfield Pipits foraging\, while Oriental Magpie-Robins\, Common Ioras\, and sunbirds animated the vegetation. Raptors such as Brahminy Kite\, Black Kite\, Oriental Honey-buzzard\, and a notable Egyptian Vulture were observed soaring above.
